She was Valedictorian of her High School graduating class, got her AA degree with High Honors from Indian River Community College, and her Bachelors degree with Honors at the University of Florida. She graduated from the UF College of Veterinary Medicine n 1990, winning the AVMA Senior Student Award for Clinical proficiency in Medicine and Surgery.
Dr Vaujin was born in Miami and raised in Okeechobee, FL.
Dr Vaujin started her career in Miami, but moved to Central Florida after Hurricane Andrew impacted her life. She returned to south Florida to open her own practice, Heroes, in 2007.
During her career, Dr Vaujin has worked at private practices, been the staff veterinarian at Orange County Animal Services, and done relief work. However her main focus has always been to help pet owners that are economically challenged. To that end she has been the Medical Director for Luv My Pet for 14 years. Luv My Pet is a national low cost mobile vaccination service that provides affordable vaccinations for pets, at various pet stores across the country. Dr Vaujin has done volunteer work for United Humanitarian, by spending a week on the Island of Grand Turk doing spay and neuter surgeries for the local island pets and does other local charity work including cycling forThe Leukemia Society Team inTraining, the MS Society, and the Dolphin Cycling Challenge to benefit the Sylvester Cancer research Center.
